It’s been a few years since we added a new guidebook to our store, but we will have a new one available soon: Guide to the Tatshenshini & Lower Alsek Rivers. This book fills a void since there is not a waterproof guidebook with maps for this remote river, which attracts many boaters every year due to its spectacular scenery within the world’s largest contiguous protected area and a UNESCO World Heritage site. The region also encompasses the largest non-polar ice field in the world. We expect to have this book in stock by the beginning of April in time for the 2026 boating season.
